Evangelist Sharon Jones has been in her role for two years and has worked in the St. Paul’s Prayer Ministry for over eight years. She is active in her church community and wears multiple hats, including as Assistant Sunday School Superintendent, Sunday School Instructor, Steward, Stewardess, Class Leader and member of the Health Ministry.
She enjoys moments in God’s Throne Room, where he controls her entire being. It is the place where she finds understanding of God. On any given day, her role includes intercession with God through prayer, studying, investigating, problem-solving, taking phone calls and mentoring people from all walks of life.
For her, the call came through inner promptings or signals from God. Initially she discounted it as she felt the messaging did not line up with who she thought she was. However, the promptings became more frequent, and the whispers turned into shouts that she could no longer ignore. She didn’t want to answer the call, but she is thankful that she did. She was armed with a new identity, one that was lined up with who God knew she was.
Born in St. Louis Missouri, Evangelist Sharon is an avid walker. She walks to increase her endurance, stay healthy, and to stimulate her thoughts. Aside from walking, she enjoys reading and spending time with family, loved ones and friends.
In addition to being an integral part of our church family, Evangelist Sharon is both a teacher and manager that works as a Human Resources Manager.
